Solar Installers Across Perth and Surrounding Suburbs

Perth’s grid, sunshine and rebates change what a good design looks like, so every job starts local.

A good solar design in Perth looks different from a good design in another state. The sunshine is different, the network rules are different and so are the rebates. That is why we treat each area we cover as its own job, with solar installers who know the local rules.

Why Your Location Changes Your System

When people search for solar installers near me, they usually want someone local for convenience. The bigger reason to choose an installer who knows your area is technical.

  • Sunshine and certificates.Federal solar certificates are worked out by postcode zone, based on how much sun your area receives. The same system earns a different number in different places.
  • Network rules. Each distribution network sets its own export limits and connection requirements. In Perth, for example, Western Power introduced new requirements for new and upgraded systems on 1 May 2026.
  • State incentives.Battery rebates and loans vary by state. In WA, the WA Residential Battery Scheme adds a rebate and a no-interest loan to the federal discount.
  • Climate and conditions.Heat affects panel output and battery life. Coastal suburbs bring salt exposure, and wind regions affect how panels must be fixed to the roof.
  • Feed-in arrangements. In WA, export credits are set by a government buyback scheme with a higher rate in the late afternoon and evening. That changes how we orient panels and size batteries.

We explain how these factors shape the design on our solar panel installation and solar battery installation pages, and cover state incentives on our rebates page.

Not Sure What Suits Your Home?

Send a recent bill and we will come back with a written recommendation, including when solar and a battery do not make sense.

Not in Our Area Yet?

If we do not cover your suburb, we will say so honestly rather than send solar installers halfway across the state. We can still answer questions about rebates and system design, and point you to how to check any installer's accreditation.
